The Domain Referencing Wizard can be used to quickly validate and set up Parent-Child-Sibling Relationships after importing a data model into a Project Version of a Project. Follow the steps below to validate/set up the required relationships for imported Domains.

How to Access the Domain Referencing Wizard

The Domain Referencing Wizard can be accessed in two ways: 


Method 1: 

  • Select a Project within the Project Dashboard.
  • Click on the Domain Referencing Wizard icon within the Project Versions Pane.



Method 2: 

  • Select a Project within the Project Dashboard.
  • Next, expand the Self Serve Options Menu for a Project Version and select XTS Wizard.



  • Select the Domain Referencing Wizard.


How to Use the Domain Referencing Wizard

  • The Domain Referencing Wizard will appear as shown below and can be used to view each Domain and the Parent-Child-Sibling Relationships between the Domains.



  • Use the filter options to search by Name, filter out Root Domains, or further customize what is displayed.



  • Select a Domain to review within the first pane.


  • Click on a radio button in the Parent column to set a Domain as the Parent. 

  • If a Domain is set as the parent, then the Siblings checkbox will be marked automatically for all other Domains.


    Note: A parent can also be removed by clicking on the Minus (-) icon.


  • The Domain will automatically be marked as "Reviewed" if changes are made to the Parent-Child-Sibling relationships.

  • The Reviewed Column will have a checkmarkand the graph below the Domain Relationship configuration will automatically update.


  • If no changes have been made, click on the Mark as Reviewed button to mark the Domain as "Reviewed.". 


    Note: Click on the Mark as Not Reviewed button for the Domain to remove the checkmark within the Reviewed Column.

  • The Domain Referencing Wizard will appear as shown below after the Domains have been reviewed:


Additional Steps for XTS Wizard

  • Click on XTS Wizards in the breadcrumb bar to return.


  • Once finished, click on Mark Completed for Step 2.



  • Click on Yes in the prompt.
