Description

The EncryptGen Generator encrypts a string using various encryption algorithms.

Parameters

The following parameters may be configured for the EncryptGen Generator. Items with an asterisk* are required. 

• textToEncryptGen* - The value that will be encrypted.
  
  
• algorithm* - The encryption algorithm to use for encrypting. The choices are: 
  • MD5
  • SHA-1
  • SHA-256
  • SHA-384
  • SHA-512
    
    
• upperCase* - Determines whether to output the result in upperCase or not. If true, the output will be upperCase.
  
  
  Note: New Attributes with "password" as part of the Attribute name will automatically be assigned the EncryptGen Generator.
