For MySQL Version 8.0, please download the attachment for mysql-connector-java-8.0.13.jar to this link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/gr-groovy/mysql-connector-java-5.1.13.jar

Step for the fix:

Please remove the old version of MySQL connector from your GEN_ROCKET_HOME/lib directory
Place the attached MySQL connector inside GEN_ROCKET_HOME/lib and then try to run the scenario again.
