Top 3 New Features for February:

  1. HL7 Support
  2. Nested SOAP Request
  3. MongoDB Support

HL7 Support

HL7 (Health Level Seven) is a standard for exchanging information between medical applications. GenRocket can generate Output Files in HL7 formatting with different levels of nesting.

GenRocket uses the SegmentDataCreatorReceiver to create segmented data files and merges data using the HL7SegmentMergeReceiver. Learn more on how to Generate HL7 files here.

Nested SOAP Request

We have added the SOAPSegmentMergeReceiver Receiver, which merges different segment data created by the SegmentDataCreatorReceiver into a  complex nested XML payload that is sent to an endpoint via SOAP request.

Using Configuration Management in the Project Dashboard, you can quickly define the Segmentation and Merging to generate the Nested SOAP Requests.

Note: Here is the documentation on how to use SOAPSegmentMergeReceiver.

MongoDB Support

GenRocket provides support for unstructured databases such as MongoDB, NoSQL (Learn more about the data generation of (Large Data warehouses or Unstructured Tables here). However, to generate Test Data you need to Query data from databases like MongoDB.

We have added 4 new Generators to Query from MongoDB:

  • MongoToMapGen Generator
  • MongoFromMapGen Generator
  • MongoEachToMapGen Generator
  • MongoEachFromMapGen Generator

Note: You can read more about how to use MongoDB Generators here.
