Expanded Java Support Added to the GenRocket Ecosystem

To make our platform even more adaptable, the GenRocket Runtime has just been updated to support multiple versions of Java JDK. In addition to our previous support for Java 1.7, the runtime engine now supports releases 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10. 1.11, 1.12, and 1.13 (Java 1.8 u20 is not supported at this time).

For versions greater than Java 9+, please add/update JAVA_OPTS environment variable to:

JAVA_OPTS=-Xms512m -Xmx2048m --add-opens java.base/jdk.internal.loader=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens jdk.zipfs/jdk.nio.zipfs=ALL-UNNAMED

Configuration Management for Nested Delimited File Format

The Merge Receivers merge from two or more segmented data files, generated from the SegmentDataCreatorReceiver, into one or more Fixed file delimited formatted output files or any other segmented files.

However, arranging the segments manually in the configuration file can be difficult and time consuming when it comes to heavily nested files. Configuration Management helps the user to quickly set up the nesting and download the configuration file.

We have added interactive elements to the Configuration Management for Delimited File Formats. To learn how to configure FixedDelimitedSegmentMergeReceiver click here.
