Description

Each Organization Attribute will need to have at least one assigned Generator. A single Generator or multiple Generators can be added at one time to the selected Organization Attribute (highlighted in blue).


How to Add a Single Generator

  • Select the Organization Attribute and click on the Add Generator button.



  • Enter an Alias (optional) and select a Generator from the drop-down menu. 

  • Click the Save button.


  • The Generator will appear as shown below:


How to Add Multiple Generators at a Time

When multiple Generators are added, you will not be able to enter an Alias. This will need to be done by editing the individual Generator. Complete the steps below: 

  • Click the Add Multiple Generators button.



  • Select each Generator from the drop-down list by typing in all or part of the Generator's name.


  • Click the Save button.



  • The added Generators will appear as shown below: 


Additional Options

Once a Generator has been added to a selected Organization Attribute, you will be able to manage that Generator through the options provided within the Action column. 



The following icons are provided for each Generator:

Description

Edit the Generator's alias or the selected Generator.
Create a copy of the Generator within the currently selected Organization Attribute.
Delete the Generator from the selected Organization Attribute.
Change the order of Generators within the selected Organization Attribute.


How to Configure Generator Parameters

After each Generator has been added to the Organization Attribute, you may need to make changes to one or more Generator Parameters. Complete the following steps to do so: 

  • Click on a Generator to select it. The selected Generator will be highlighted in blue and its Parameters will appear to the right. 



  • Make any needed configuration changes for the Generator. For this example, the startRange Parameter has been changed to 10000 and the endRange Parameter has been changed 99999. This will generate a random number consisting of 5 digits.

  • Click the Save Generator button.
