Description
When a Domain is created, an id Attribute is automatically created for the Domain and used as a unique identifier for each generated test data record.
The id Domain Variable determines the starting value for the id Attribute. The default value is 1 when a Domain is created or imported.
When should the id Domain Variable value be changed?
- Any time a user wants a Domain's id Attribute to start at a number different than 1.
How to Change the id Domain Variable Value
- In the Domain Dashboard, click on the Pencil icon to the right of the id Domain Variable.
- Enter a new value for the id Domain Variable.
- Click the Save button.
- The new value will appear within the Domain Dashboard, as shown below:
