G-Migration+: Added Support for Two More Partition Receivers

The G-Migration+ platform intelligently queries a subset of data from a source database, replaces sensitive data values with synthetically generated data values, and inserts the data subset into an identical destination database using the same format and data model. Support has been added in G-Migration+ for two additional Partition Receivers: 

File and Directory Configuration for Receivers

File Config and Directory Config Tabs have been added to select Receivers. These tabs can be used to dynamically configure the following: 

  • How many records are in each generated output file.
  • How many files are placed in each generated output sub-directory.
  • The naming convention of each output file.
  • The naming convention of each output sub-directory.

For example, if the loopCount has been set to 1,000, and the file count is set to a constant value of 100, then 10 output files will be generated.

QueryReGenerateOnHitGen Generator

The QueryReGenerateOnHitGen Generator regenerates the value if the referenced value exists in the database table. The main idea behind this Generator is to generate unique values that do not exist in the database table.

The QueryReGenerateOnHitGen Generator queries a column within a database table, using an SQL select statement, on EACH iteration of test Generation and validates whether the referenced value exists or not. If the value exists, the Generator calls the Generator of referenced value to regenerate the next value, which is again validated for its existence.

Project Versions Pane

The Project Versions Pane within the Project Dashboard has been updated. The Manage drop-down menu that was present for each Project Version has been replaced with icons as shown below: 

The Info icon can be used to view a description for each icon within the Project Versions Pane.

Filter by Category within the Domain Dashboard

Domains, Scenarios, Scenario Chains, and Scenario Chain Sets can be be filtered by Category within the Project Dashboard. Categorizing allows users to search and find these items much faster than looking through a vast number of them at one time within the dashboard.

The drop-down menu located at the top of each pane can be used to view Domains, Scenarios, Scenario Chains, or Scenario Chain Sets by Category.

In the example below, two Domain Categories exist: User's Domains and Customer's Domains

When User's Domains is selected, only Domains with that assigned Category will be displayed:
