Description

Any user who is not the G-Questionnaire Creator or an Org Admin will automatically be in "Tester Mode" and can use the Template or another Case to create their own G-Questionnaire Case. 



In This Article


Step 1: Copy the Template or another G-Questionnaire Case

  • Click on the Copy icon for the Questionnaire Template or Case.



  • Enter a Name, enter a Description, and click Save.


Step 2: (Optional) Change the Loop Count for Domains

  • Click on the Edit (Pencil) icon and enter a new value.


  • Select a Loop Type.


  • Enter the required values based on the Loop Type selection.


Step 3: (Optional) Enter a Constant Value for one or more Attribute Generators

Click to enter a constant value for an Attribute. When a constant value is entered, the Generator will be changed to a ConstantGen Generator when the G-Questionnaire case is saved. 


The Use Generator checkbox will be unchecked when a Constant Value is entered. 



A modified Attribute's Generator can be reverted to the Original Template configuration by clicking on the Revert icon. 



Step 4: (Optional) Select from Generated Preview Values for Attributes

A user can also select generated preview values for an Attribute. Depending on the number of selected values, the Generator will be changed to a ConstantGen Generator or a ListGen Generator. 



A modified Attribute's Generator can be reverted to the Original Template configuration by clicking on the Revert icon.



Step 5: Save Changes Made to G-Questionnaire Case

Click the Save button at the bottom of the form after making all desired changes to the G-Questionnaire Case. 



Click Yes to confirm.



Step 6: Download the G-Questionnaire Suite or a Case

Click on the Download (Cloud) icon within the G-Questionnaire Suite Pane to download the entire G-Questionnaire Suite.



Click on the Download (Cloud) icon within the G-Questionnaire Case Pane to download a G-Questionnaire Case.



Step 7: Download the Scenario, Scenario Chain, or Scenario Chain Set

Click on the Download (Cloud) icon within the Project Dashboard to download a Scenario, Scenario Chain, or Scenario Chain Set.



Step 8: Run the Command for the G-Questionnaire Case

Then run the command to generate data. This command can be found at the bottom of the G-Questionnaire Management Dashboard for the selected Case.

Under the Hood Mode

As a Developer/Tester becomes more familiar with GenRocket, they can look "under the hood" and further modify G-Questionnaire Cases. Users can customize the following for Cases when "under the hood": 

  • G-Rules
  • G-Queries
  • Domain loopCounts
  • Domain Attribute Generators
  • Domain Toggle Attribute grReference Generators
  • Domain Receivers


A user will need to click on the Under the Hood icon within the G-Questionnaire Case Pane for a specific G-Questionnaire Case to customize these items.
