This example will show how to generate multiple files with one claim per file. This change will be made within a G-Case.

Steps for Generating Multiple Files with one Claim

For this example, we will modify the Loop Count for the ISA_InterchangeControlHeader within an EDI 837P Document. The ISA_InterchangeControlHeader Loop Count determines the number of generated files.

Step 1: Select the G-Case Suite within the G-Case Management Dashboard.

Step 2: Select the G-Case Category and G-Case.

Step 3: Add the ISA_InterchangeControlHeader to the G-Case. To do so, open the EDI Tree View and click on the Add (+) icon within the Action Column for the ISA_InterchangeControlHeader.

The icon will change to a Pencil within the Action Column. Click the OK button to finish.

Step 4: Change the Loop Count for the ISA_InterchangeControlHeader. For this example, we have set the value to 5 to generate five EDI 837P Documents.

Since the Loop Count for Loop_2300V1 is 1, only one claim will be present within each generated EDI 837P Document.
