Description
Changes can be made to Categories and Tags any time after they have been created for a selected Business Unit. This includes the following:
- Changing the Category Name and Description
- Changing Tag Names
- Creating More Tags for a Category
- Removing Tags from a Category
- Deleting Categories from Business Units
This article will show how to make these changes for a selected Business Unit within the Project Categorization Dashboard.
How to Make Changes to Categories and Tags
- Expand the Manage Menu in the Menu Bar and select Project Categorization.
- Select the Business Unit within the dashboard.
- Click on the Category to select it.
- A dialog window will appear and can be used to make changes.
- Remember to click the Save button.
Changing the Category Name and Description
- Click on the Category Name or Description.
- Enter the new value.
- Click the Save button.
Changing Tag Names
- Click on the Tag Name.
- Enter the new value.
- Click the Save button.
Creating More Tags for a Category
- Click on Add button below the existing Tags.
- Next, enter a Name for the new Tag.
- Once finished, click the Save button.
Removing Tags from a Category
Please note that any Projects added to that Category Tag will no longer be tagged when removed.
- Click on the Remove button to the right of the Tag name.
- Once finished, click the Save button.
Deleting Categories from Business Units
Please note Projects belonging to the Category/Tags will no longer be categorized for that Category and its related Tags.
- Click on the Delete button in the bottom right of the dialog window.
- Click Save in the confirmation prompt.
- The Category will no longer appear in the dashboard for the Business Unit.
