Step 1: Create a G-Questionnaire Suite
Create a G-Questionnaire Suite. When a new G-Questionnaire Suite is saved, the system creates a related case titled "Template." The Author cannot create nor delete the Template, only modify the Template's contents.
Note: To view step-by-step instructions, please see How to create a Q-Questionnaire Suite.
Step 2: (Optional) Modify the Template Case Description
- Click on the Edit icon within the G-Questionnaire Case Pane to modify the description.
Step 3: Add G-Rule Suites
Step 4: Add G-Queries
Step 5: Add Domains
Step 6: Modify Loop Counts
The Loop Counts for each added Domain can be changed by clicking on the Edit (Pencil) button and entering a new value.
Step 7: Add and Manage Attributes
In Author Mode, users can add a new Attribute or an existing Attribute to the G-Questionnaire Case.
Step 7a: Existing Attributes
Step 7b: New Attributes
Step 8: Add Domains to Toggle
Domains whose enabled behavior will be determined by a grEnable Attribute can be added to the Toggle Domain Tab in three ways:
Method 1: Drag and drop each Domain from the Domain Tree View.
Method 2: Use the checkboxes next to each Domain name. When unchecked, the Domain has been added.
Method 3: Domains can also be added to the Toggle Domain Tab by using the Add Domain to Toggle button.
Select a Domain and then click the Save button.
Step 9: Manage Generators
Step 10: Manage Receivers
The Receivers Tab can be used to add, remove, enable/disable, and manage Receivers for a G-Questionnaire Case.
Preview the G-Questionnaire
The Author can preview the G-Questionnaire to see how it will appear to Developers/Testers. Click on the Preview icon within the G-Questionnaire Suites Pane.
Click Close to exit the preview.
Note: An Author can continue to modify a Template even if the Testers are using the Template. The modifications an Author makes to the Template will be immediately reflected in the Cases referencing the Template.
