Description
The Domain Dashboard may be used to view and manage each Template Domain within a selected Project Version of a given Project. This dashboard allows users to view and manage Domain Attributes, Variables, Receivers, Scenarios, and Relationships.

How to Access the Domain Dashboard
Click on a Domain Name within the Domains Pane on the Project Dashboard.
How to Select Domains within the Domain Dashboard
Expand the Domain Selection Menu and select the Domain.
Domain Information and Options
Basic information about the Domain (e.g., Domain Name, Table Name, Description) can be viewed and managed at the top of the dashboard.

Save any changes to the Domain Name, Table Name, or Description. | |
Copy a Domain and its configuration to a selected Project Version within a given Project. Click here for more information. | |
Open the Group Edit dialog and change multiple Domain Attribute parameters at once. It may also be used to delete multiple Attributes from the Domain. Click here for more information. | |
View, create, and manage Domain Categories. A Domain can be added to the Category, making it easier to search for and filter Domains. Click here for more information. | |
Remove the Domain from the Project Version. | |
Assign the Global Variable Seed value to all Generators of the current Domain. |
Domain Attributes Pane
The Domain Attributes Pane is located on the left side of the Domain Dashboard and can be used to view and manage a selected Domain's Attributes. A Key will appear to the left of its name if a Domain Attribute has been set as the Primary Key Attribute.

This drop-down menu titled "Set 1: 1/# of #" can be used to view additional Domain Attributes when a large number exists for a Domain. If a Domain has more than 15 Attributes, the attributes will be subset into groups of 15. For more information, click here. | |

Change the order of Attributes within a selected Domain. An Attribute can only reference the Attributes above it unless defined as an Organization Attribute. For more information, click here. | |

The Generator Search feature can be used to find what Generators have been assigned to Domain Attributes within a selected Project Version. Click here to learn more. | |

Domain Variables Pane
The Domain Variables Pane is located within the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. Here, you can view, manage, and create new Domain Variables and edit the value of the default Domain Variables (id, loopCount, and seed). For more information, please see: What are Domain Variables?

Domain Receivers Pane
The Domain Receivers Pane is located within the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. It allows users to view, assign, and manage Domain Receivers.

Add a new Receiver to a Domain. Click here for more information. | |
The Logging option can be enabled when your loopCount exceeds 10,000 records and will have a checkmark if enabled. When enabled and running a Scenario on your system, you will see logs for every 10,000 records that have been processed. | |
Change the Receiver's name. | |
Remove the Receiver from the Domain. | |
This icon can be used to change the Receiver position within the pane. Click on the icon and drag upward or downward to change the order of Receivers within the pane. The order of the Receivers determines which output format is generated first when a Scenario is run. |
Domain Scenarios Pane
The Domain Scenarios Pane is located within the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. It allows users to view, create, and manage Domain Scenarios.

Create a Quick Scenario for the Domain. For more information on creating a Quick Scenario, click here. | |
Download a Scenario. | |
Lock a Scenario. When a Scenario is locked, changes made at the Domain level do not cascade down to that Scenario. | |
Unlock a Scenario. | |
Jump to the Scenario Domain. A Domain created for a Project or Project Version is referred to as a template. When you create a Scenario, it creates a copy of the Domain called a Scenario Domain. Scenario Domains can be customized to generate the exact type of data you want for that Scenario. Unless locked, changes made at the Template level cascade down to the corresponding Scenario Domains. | |
Delete a Scenario. |
Relationship Tab
The Relationship Tab can be used to view and manage parent-child-sibling relationships between Domains. Users can remove a Referential Parent Domain or Referential Siblings from a Domain.
