Description
The Domain Dashboard may be used to view and manage each Domain within a selected Project Version of a given Project. Within this dashboard, users can view and manage the following:
- Domain Attributes
- Domain Variables
- Domain Receivers
- Domain Scenarios
- Parent-Child-Sibling Relationships
- Templates

How to Access the Domain Dashboard
The Domain Dashboard is accessed by clicking on a Domain Name within the Domains Pane on the Project Dashboard.
Users can return to the Domain Dashboard from other dashboards by clicking on the Domain Name within the Breadcrumb Bar.
How to Select Domains within the Domain Dashboard
Expand the Domain Selection Menu above the Domain Attributes to select a Domain within the Domain Dashboard.
Click on a Domain Name to view its configuration within the Domain Dashboard.
Domain Information and Buttons
Basic information about the Domain (e.g., Domain Name, Table Name, Description) can be viewed and managed at the top of the dashboard.
The following buttons can also be found at the top of the Domain Dashboard.
Button | Description |
![]() | The Save button can be used to save any changes made to the Domain Name, Table Name, or Description. |
![]() | The Copy button can be used to copy a Domain and its configuration to a selected Project Version within a given Project.![]() Note: For more information on how to Copy a Domain, click here. |
![]() | The Group Edit button can be used to open the Group Edit dialog and make changes to multiple Domain Attribute parameters at once. It may also be used to delete multiple Attributes from the Domain. ![]() Note: For more information about using the Group Edit feature, click here. |
![]() | The Categorize button can be used to view, create, and manage Domain Categories. A Domain can be added to the Category, making it easier to search for and filter Domains. ![]() Note: For more information about Categorizing Domains, click here. |

![]() | The Global Seed button can be used to assign the Global Variable Seed value to all Generators of the current Domain.![]() |
Domain Dashboard - Panes and Tabs
The following panes and tabs are located within the Domain Dashboard:
Pane/Tab | Description |
Domain Attributes Pane | The Domain Attributes Pane is located on the left side of the Domain Dashboard and can be used to view and manage a selected Domain's Attributes. ![]() If a Domain Attribute has been set as the Primary Key Attribute, a Key icon will appear to the left of its name, as shown below: |
Domain Variables Pane | The Domain Variables Pane is located within the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. It can be used to view, manage, and create new Domain Variables for the Domain. Domain Receivers Pane | The Domain Receivers Pane is located within the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. It can be used to view, assign, and manage Receivers for the Domain.![]() Note: For more information about the Domain Receivers Pane, click here. |
Domain Scenarios Pane | The Domain Scenarios Pane is located within the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. It can be used to view, create, and manage Domain Scenarios.![]() Notes: For more information on the Domain Scenarios Pane, click here. |
Preview Data Pane | The Preview Data Pane is located at the bottom of the Main Tab in the Domain Dashboard. It can be used to view a preview of the raw test data that will be generated by the Domain Attributes and their assigned Generators. |

Template Tab | The Template Tab may be used to create, view, download, and manage XML Templates for the selected Domain. Note: For more information about the Template Tab, click here. |
